Dr. Carlos Oliva’s philosophy is to give you the jumpstart you need to achieve and then maintain a healthy weight.

Initial Consultation

The first step starts at your consultation. Medical History and weight history will review and discuss your short and long term goals, and present to you what your expected weight loss will be. Your visit includes: 

  • Full medical history 
  • ECG (electrocardiogram) 
  • Basic general blood work 
  • Prescription weight loss medication 
  • LipoVite


Our Programs

There are several options available to you. Your plan may involve full replacement, partial meal replacement, or a detailed calorie plan using your own food, specific to your metabolic. For some patients, an FDA approved medicine may be used to help decrease your appetite. Some patients choose to use vitamin based injections to help stimulate the metabolism and increase energy levels. Through your body composition analysis, we can very accurately predict the amount  of weight you can lose over a given period of time. Dr. Oliva will help you choose which program is best for you. 

Your follow up appointments will be monthly, physicians will monitor your health and progress, measuring your vital signs and doing a brief exam. Any medical issues will be addressed at this time. Counseling on lifestyle changes, explanation of metabolism and how you process the food you eat, and general weight loss information will be discussed at this visit.


Among some of the many benefits that these compounds provide are enhanced liver and gallbladder function, increased energy, improved mood, helps boost metabolism, cell and brain function support, help in controlling cholesterol levels, and promoting healthy skin, hair and nail growth. Lipotropic injections are injected intramuscularly.

Many individuals find it beneficial in boosting metabolism and enhancing exercise performance. It has also been used for individuals who want to maintain a healthy weight or prevent re-gain of their lost weight.

  • Methylcobalamin: Known as the natural and more biologically active form of B12 (versus the chemically synthesized form) it  supports the body’s energy level, red blood cell formation, immune system function and positive mood (stimulates serotonin). 
  • Methionine: An amino acid which plays an important role in many cell functions. Our body uses it to synthesize proteins and build muscle (building muscle helps burn fat in the body) 
  • Inositol: Known as vitamin B8, it supports a healthy metabolism, regulates glucose levels, reduces stress and boosts positive mood, as well as breaking down carbohydrates for energy. 
  • Choline: A macronutrient important for liver function, brain and nerve function, muscle movement, energy levels and maintenance of a healthy metabolism. 
  • Riboflavin: Known as vitamin B2, riboflavin assists the body in breaking down protein an assists converting nutrients from food into usable energy, which helps maintain a healthy metabolism. 
  • Niacinamide: Known as B3, niacinamide helps the body balance cholesterol and triglyceride levels. It also benefits heart health and lowers the risk of cardiovascular disease. 
  • Chromium: Is an element essential to the metabolic process of the body. Chromium regulates blood sugar and helps transport glucose into cells where it is used for energy. 
  • Panthenol: Known as provitamin B5, it helps convert carbohydrates into energy and helps the body utilize fats and proteins. 
  • Carnitine: Derived from an amino acid, it plays a critical role in energy production and helps the body burn fat. It also enhances exercise performance.
