What is HydraFacial?

A HydraFacial is one of the most powerful, non-invasive skin resurfacing treatments available today. It combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration and antioxidant protection that removes dead skin cells and impurities, while simultaneously delivering moisturizing serums into the skinA vacuum-like attachment tip on the wand is used to help extract debris from your pores. Then a specific tip attachment is used to apply a moisturizing serum with antioxidants.

What does HydraFacial treat?

Known for its three-step process, the HydraFacial works to deep-clean, exfoliate, and hydrate your skin. This professional procedure may help treat a variety of skin conditions, including acne, dryness, wrinkles and rosacea.

HydraFacial improves the appearance of:

  • Oily, acne-prone skin
  • Dry skin
  • Uneven skin tone
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Sun damage
  • Age spots
  • Blackheads

There are no risks known with this procedure although some redness or mild peeling may occur. This is a regular side effect of a HydraFacial and is typically mild and resolves quickly on its own. If desired, patients can apply tinted SPF to cover the redness and protect your skin.

You should not wash your face for about six hours after your treatment. Try not to engage in intense exercise that will cause you to sweat. During this time, protect your skin from direct sun exposure.

The treatment is generally safe and can be used on a variety of skin types. Plus, the wand can be adjusted for people with conditions like acne or rosacea.

Results can be noticeable immediately but they will appear more after 7 days of the procedure and they can last up to a month or longer with a regular home skincare regimen.

The frequency of HydraFacial sessions depends on your skin type and concern, we will recommend 4-5 treatments per month for best visible results. Recommended for maintenance treatment every 3 months.
